This position of Mini Tanker Onsite Refuelling Operator is full time. The successful applicant must be able to work both afternoon and day shifts depending on where the need is required within our busy operations. The role will offer a minimum of 40 hours. The right applicant will learn all runs.
As we are a 24/7 business this does however mean that you could be rostered to work on any day including Public Holiday's in any week
The Hawkes Bay Mini Tankers team are all about delivering what matters to our customers, providing them with value and quality to ensure their business runs smoothly and efficiently. Through speed, simplicity and service we fuel a wide range of customers including trucking fleets, heavy machinery, fishing vessels, forestry crews and Port equipment
In addition to having at least 2 years’ experience driving a Class 4 vehicle, you need to have an understanding and a value of importance of Health and Safety and be great at delivering an awesome experience to customers.
Job purpose:
This position will assist Hawkes Bay Mini Tankers to ensure that customers value the service provided by us with regard to increasing their productivity, reducing their downtime and minimising risk within their fuel requirement needs.
What you need to be successful in this position:
- Must be a NZ resident or hold a valid NZ work permit and be residing in NZ.
- At least 2 years’ experience driving a Class 4 vehicle and off road experience would be an advantage.
- Be a great team player.
- Clean driving record, criminal check, medical and drug and alcohol screening.
- Basic computer skills are necessary to operate the On Board Computer POS and delivery system
- Good working knowledge of key legislation e.g. Work time and logbook rule
- Good understanding of key Health and Safety objectives in the workplace
