  • where required by the Employer you may only do so directly through the job board;
  • otherwise, you may apply for a job directly by emailing the Employer or via a link in the Job Advertisement.

Driver Database

If you wish to be matched to advertised jobs, you can opt in to our Driver Database (Candidate Pool). This also gives you access to free CV support, adds you to our newsletter mailing list, and makes you eligible to join our private Facebook group, which is exclusively for verified drivers who have joined the Candidate Pool.

To be eligible, you must hold a valid Class 2–5 New Zealand driver licence and be currently located in New Zealand. Access to the Candidate Pool is granted only after completing the Candidate Verification Form and licence check.

  • Name, phone number, location and email address;
  • Truck driving experience;
  • Driving Licences and endorsements;
  • CV and other relevant information (optional).

As part of the verification process, you may also be asked to sign a separate consent form authorising us to complete a New Zealand driver licence check. This check may be used:

  • To confirm your eligibility to join the Candidate Pool; and
  • If you are shortlisted for a role we are actively recruiting for on behalf of an employer.

Licence checks are only requested when required and are used solely for recruitment purposes. This information is not shared with third parties without your consent.

Free CV Support

As part of your inclusion in the Candidate Pool, we offer a free CV update or creation service to help improve your job search. This service is offered exclusively to verified drivers who have completed the Candidate Verification Form

We will use the information you provide in the verification form including your work history, licences, and experience to create or improve your CV. If needed, we may contact you to clarify details or request extra information.

Your completed CV will be emailed to you and is yours to use for any job applications, whether through NZ Truck Driving Jobs or elsewhere.

Account Information

Jobseekers’ personal information will be stored for 12 months. If there is no activity on your account for 6 months we will send you an enquiry about whether you would like your account deleted. If you ask us to delete your account that is a permanent action.
