Design Warehouse is the leading destination for Outdoor Furniture in Australasia, with over 1000 styles on sale from our central Auckland Showroom/Warehouse. Due to continued growth we are needing to add to our deliveries team. This is an integral frontline role in the business, dealing with our clients in their homes on a daily basis.

Qualifications & experience

Minimum of clean class 2 full license with proven history of delivering furniture to residential properties.
Must be able to pass a medical exam to prove you are physically fit
Must be willing to undergo random drug testing
Good command of the english language as communication is an integral part of this role.

Tasks & responsibilities

Your core duties will be delivering our furniture fully assembled to our customers residential/commercial addressees all throughout the north Island.Long hauls can be up to four days at a time staying in booked accomodation overnight.The successful candidate needs to be willing to travel for work. We will cover expenses including travel expenses and accomodation costs.
Some access points can be tricky so you will need to be physically fit/strong as heavy lifting is required and you will need to come up with solutions on the fly to ensure the customers products can be delivered safely without causing damage to yourself most importantly or the customers property.
When you are not on the road you will be required to assist in the warehouse unloading containers/building furniture /general warehousing duties.
Loading of trucks by hand to fully ensure we are optimising the delivery cycle .
Must be flexible with rostered hours and available to work weekends when required.
